Alaskan Crab Co (a division of Deep Sea Harvest Pty Ltd) is 100% Australian owned.
It was originally established by two fellas, Peter and Alex, who had a great deal of fishing expertise in the infamous Bering Sea.
Today, the Company is a fusion of local processing expertise and fishing knowledge. It is dedicated to impress local chefs and maintains a commitment to delivering genuine Alaskan Crabs and gourmet Caviars of the highest grade to Australian market.
Specialising in gourmet range of seafood products, Deep Sea Harvest Pty Ltd is proud of its high standards insustainability (MSC, AQIS), hygiene (HACCP & NSW Safe Food Authority Standards) and OH&S.

OUR RANGE
ALASKAN CRAB
Alaskan King, Hanasaki (Spiny) and Snow Crabs are wild-caught in the icy waters of the Bering Sea. Cooked in a sea water and disjointed into clusters, the product is then blast frozen and packaged at sea within minutes of the catch. This seamless, ‘once only’ product handling process ensures purity, superior quality, flavour and snow white crab meat.
New to the King Crab family down under is The Golden King Crab variety. It has a golden colour shell and sweeter taste, but is otherwise similar to its King Crab brothers. A favourite of the USA market, they are very competitively priced.
CRAB MEAT & CRAB COCKTAIL
The fresh Alaskan King Crab meat and Alaskan Crab Co.’s own ‘Original Recipe’ crab cocktail is hand-picked and prepared daily at our factory. The fresh products are 100% natural, preservative and additives free.
From use in omelettes, crab cakes, crab sliders, ravioli, sushi, canapes and more, the possibilities are endless with these two versatile and delicious products.
BLACK CAVIAR
WILD American Bowfin Caviar – a tribute to chefs’ recognition of the environmental, ethical and economic realities. This black caviar comes fr om wild Bowfin (Amia Calva), a fish more ancient than the sturgeons. Medium sized roe ranging in natural color from dark gray to black; its firm, glistening pearls delivering ‘the signature’ silky pebble sensation on the palate and an intense nutty taste with a distinctive flavor of a mild tang. What began as a less expensive substitute for sturgeon caviar, has now acquired a following on its own merits and taste.
Sturgeon Caviar's (Karat and Imperial) are also available.
WILD ALASKAN SALMON CAVIAR
The ‘Deep Sea Harvest’ Wild Salmon and Trout Caviar comes from a sustainable, MSC certfied harvest. Caught in the cold pristine waters of Alaska, the fish yields the worlds finest grade roe. Cured by the Malossol (low- salt) method, the caviar is renowned for its bright, red-orange colour and liquid centre of honey consistency.
The eggs are large, shiny, slightly transparent and separate easily from each other. They deliver a full burst of flavour with a fresh taste and a famous signature ‘pop’. Pasteurised and available fresh, it is 100% natural, with no preservatives or additives.

Sturgeon has been around for more than 200 million years and are praised for their white, buttery, flaky and meaty steak-like flesh with a delicate yet distinctive flavour. A protected specie worldwide - the fish is a rare commodity.
The Russian Osetra Sturgeon variety is a product of superb quality and taste – a result of skill and dedication to breeding in a meticulous environment that emulates the sturgeons’ natural habitat. The fish is gutted, snap frozen and individually packaged.
